Each subject in the series is minted in very low mintage - only up to 3000 pieces, on a silver blank, of Ag 925, in proof quality.
The African elephant is the biggest land animal. It can measure 4 meters height and weighs between 7.5-8 tons. The difference between the African elephant and the Asian elephant is that the former has much bigger ears and a different head shape.
There are two subspecies of the African Elephant: African savanna elephant and African bush elephant. The physiology of the African elephant is amazing. These elephants are said to be very intelligent animals.
