Johan Cruyff is the sixth coin of the “Kings of Football” series produced by the Mint of Poland for issuer the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
The series of commemorative silver coins was dedicated to the most famous and remarkable football players. In the following years the Mint plans to produce about 12 coins more of the Kings of Football series.
Obverse:
In the central part of the coin there is the logo of the “Kings of Football” series. On the edge of the coin there is an inscription „Republic of Armenia” in Armenian (at the top) and English (at the bottom). Under the series logo there is the face value of the coin – 100 drams (inscription in Armenian). Below there is the year of issue (2010) in the centre of which there is the emblem of the Republic of Armenia
Reverse:
In the central part of the coin there is the image of Cruyff’s bust. In the upper part there is a semicircular inscription “Johan Cruyff” in the lower one there is Cruyff’s hand signature. In the background there is a ball leaving behind a trail in the colours of a Dutch flag.
